We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer who loves building systems more than clicking through test cases. Your job is to design and maintain the automation infrastructure that keeps our products shippable at high speed and quality, not to run manual test scripts all day.

What you’ll do

• Design, build and evolve our end‑to‑end test automation framework (Playwright and friends) across web and API layers.
• Create the tooling, libraries and pipelines that let product teams easily add, run and maintain automated tests as part of CI/CD.
• Implement robust test environments, data management and test fixtures so automated suites are reliable, fast and reproducible.
• Integrate automated testing deeply into our build and deployment process (gates, reporting, flaky‑test detection, alerts).
• Work closely with engineers and product to translate real‑world user flows and UAT scenarios into maintainable automated checks.
• Continuously refactor, de‑flake and improve the framework: helpers, data generators, page objects, internal CLIs, dashboards, etc.
• Evaluate and introduce new tools (agents, visual regression, AI‑assisted test generation) where they make the infra more powerful.

This is not a manual QA role. Your impact comes from the quality and usability of the infrastructure you build for other people to test with.

What we’re looking for

• Solid experience with modern test frameworks (ideally Playwright; Cypress, Selenium, etc. also valued) and building custom tooling around them.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, similar) and making them fast, stable and informative.
• Good understanding of web application architecture, APIs, and how to design tests that catch regressions instead of being flaky noise.
• Comfort with infrastructure/dev tooling (Docker, Node tooling, environment config, basic cloud/edge concepts).
• A product mindset: you care about developer experience, not just “more tests”; you design infra that people actually want to use.
• Clear communication in English; Spanish is a plus but not required.

Nice to have

• Experience with visual regression testing and snapshot baselines for UAT/regression.
• Working with or experimenting with AI‑assisted testing or agents on top of a framework like Playwright.
• Prior startup / product studio experience where speed and quality both mattered.
